Number Chart to 120 – Black and White – Foundation Font

Category:   Number Charts and Hanging Number Line

Grades this is best suited for: Preschool/Early Childhood, Kindergarten, 1st Grade

Number of Pages: 10

These alphabet charts can be used as a wall chart or mat. It can be a bit large and unwieldy as a mat in its full form to 120, but works great as a mat for numbers up to 30.

Features:

  • Perfectly sized to use with the number cards.
  • You can make the chart stop at any number you choose eg. numbers up to 30, numbers to 100 etc.
  • Foundation font

Uses:

  • Children can match the number cards to the chart/mat as they find them in a number hunt or in a sensory bin.
  • Practise counting.
  • Place the corresponding number of small objects (eg. beads, little rocks) or stickers with each number.
  • Practise numeral recognition.

Instructions:

  1. Download file
  2. Print: Choose what number you would like your chart/mat to go up to and print those pages. (The first page shows the full configuration to help you visualise your chart at whatever number you decide).
  3. Optional: laminate for durability and splash resistance if desired. (For full splash resistance, cut out paper first, laminate, then cut out again leaving a laminated seal around the edges.)
  4. Cut off edges (if you didn’t do that in optional step 3).
  5. Stick pages together in the correct configuration with a piece of sticky tape. This works best when you stick the tape on the back. Your chart/mat can now be folded for easy storage.
  6. Stick on wall if using as a wall chart, or place on table if using as a mat. When I use it on the wall, I laminate it, then put clear sticky dots on top of the letters so the kids can stick the alphabet cards on as they find them.
